This program is complete with in-line command entry display, and user-specified defaults. It is functionally equivalent to the IBM-supplied programmer menu with the following enhancements. 1) The user may specify several default object for the various CRTxxx object commands, at execution time, on a user profile basis, or on the fly. 2) Second level prompting is provided for submitted jobs. If you press CMD 16, after selecting option 3 or 6, the submit job command will be prompted as well as the command being submitted. 3) The subfile error messages are not left on the display when a new command begins execution. This avoid frustration when the message "command ended in error..." is displayed and a "good" command is executing. 4) Full on line helptext is provided for the menu. Simple press the Help key to display the help text. A "setup" program is provided. You should first compile the CL program CRC1239 and its associated command PGMSETUP. After you've compiled these two items, execute the command PGMSETUP and specify the appropriate parameter values. This command will automatically create all necessary objects for the programmer menu to function. You can sit back and relax while PGMSETUP is doing YOUR work. Once PGMSETUP is completed, you will be able to call the Cozzi Research Programmer Menu by executing the following command: PGMMENU You may prompt and specify as many of the various default values as you wish. However, you may want to use the command PGMMNUDFT to setup your own defaults that can be used again and again. Then simply specify the NAME on the USRPRF parameter of the PGMMENU command.
